TONE AND BALANCE
Our Aloe Toning Mists are Alcohol-Free and formulated to restore the skin's pH that is interrupted after cleansing.  Most toners simply continue to strip away moisture and natural lipids that make up the Acid Mantle, the invisible cellophane-like shield that protects our skin from outside intruders.  HGS toner for dry skin hydrates and restores to normalize the skin's surface.  Normalization allows serums and creams to penetrate to subcutaneous layers, humectants to sustain moisture levels, and keeps makeup colors true.

SUPER HYDRATORS
Sodium PCA, a naturally occurring component of human skin, moisturizes from the inside out.  Hyaluronic Acid which is known as the "water reservoir" holding up to 40,000 times its weight in water is the intercellular "goo" that protects cells.  And last but not least is Glycosaminoglycans found in connective tissue which promote the ability of collagen fibers to retain water and bind moisture throughout the epidermis.  HGS takes these Super Hydrators and combine them with one of nature's perfect mucopolysaccharides, Aloe Vera, another amazing humectant to revitalize and re-hydrate dry skin.  Take it to the pool, beach, or even work and re-hydrate all day long!!

DAILY SKIN CARE ROUTINE
DRY/MATURE SKIN

Morning 

STEP ONE: EXFOLIATE!  (Removes dead skin cells which accumulate during nightly cellular repair.)—Honey Jojoba Scrub is gentle enough to use every morning! Use with a
warm washcloth is circular movements from inner face outward to hair line on each side
of your face: forehead, then cheeks, and last chin and jawline.  Rinse thoroughly.
STEP TWO: BALANCE!  (Time to balance facial pH with a non-alcoholic toner.)—Aloe Rose Toning Mist is perfect for dry/mature skin.  It not only restores crucial pH, but also
hydrates with Aloe and HA, and restores skin minerals:  Zinc, Selenium and Copper.  Soothing botanicals feel great. You will love this one!!  Mist onto face with 3 or 4 sprays.
STEP THREE: RENEW!  (Anti-aging serums are designed to preserve delicate eye area, activate cellular renewal, lift sagging skin, and reduce the appearance of wrinkles)—Alpha Lipoic A&E Oil is a must for everyone for under eye smoothing.  If you have eye bags use Cucumber Eye Relief first to reduce puffiness.  Probiotic Stem Cell Serum protects and prevents wrinkles in dry skin during the day. STEP THREE: REPAIR! SHEA BUTTER CLEANSING CREAM

Dry Skin Cleansing Group

Morning cleanser is our fabulous Honey Jojoba Scrub, to gently remove dead skin buildup. The honey soothes and moisturizes skin while the jojoba beads gently dissolve as they exfoliate.  Walnut shell powder never feels harsh, making this scrub work on all skin types.

ALOE AND HONEY ARE ADDED MOISTURIZING INGREDIENTS FOR DAILY USE

The evening creamy cleanser is Shea Butter Cleansing Cream which melts away mascara and makeup!  This soothing creamy lotion is water soluble, so it cleans and rinses away without leaving a greasy residue.

These two creamy emollients make great non-greasy cleansers for dry skin because the are high in Linoleic Acid (EFAs) and Tocopherols (Vitamin E).  We've also added Jojoba Seed Oil to prevent surface dryness after cleansing because it is chemically similar to human sebum.  It's been used by the Sonora Indians of Arizona for moisturizing for centuries.  Finally, Evening Primrose Oil, another emollient that has a high content of the anti-aging Gamma Linolenic Acid (EFAs) leaves the soft and smooth.
