Dry Skin Ages Faster Than Other Skin Types

Dry skin needs a moisturizing cocktail composed of lipids and water. Why? Well, the dermis is about 79% soluble collagen when young. By the time of age 30, most have lost 25% of that. Add to that, a lack of moisture, and collagen becomes insoluble, cross-linking together in a taut, rigid formation known as WRINKLES.
