EAT FRESH: If God didn’t make it, then don’t eat it. Fresh whole foods are clean fuel your body loves to burn. Cook from scratch! What is that, you say. That’s the way I learned how to cook. Eat unprepared or precooked meats, grains, vegetables and fish that are fresh or frozen. Buy organic when purchasing peaches, apples, bell peppers, celery, nectarines, strawberries, cherries, pears, grapes, spinach, lettuce, and potatoes. The least contaminated fresh foods are onions, avocado, sweet corn, pineapple, mango, asparagus, frozen sweet peas, kiwi fruit, bananas, cabbage, broccoli, and papaya. The most toxic fish are farmed fish like Atlantic salmon, tilapia, catfish, and trout. When buying beef and poultry look for hormone free, antibiotic free, grass fed or wild, nitrite free, and free range.
